Maryam and Adam were not going to let a little Nova Scotia rain ruin their special day. And the rain listened – it stopped less than an hour before the ceremony, and stayed away for the rest of the day. A beautiful couple, a beautiful location, gorgeous styling by Anchor & Vine, adorable children, delighted family and friends, even a happy toad – this wedding had it all! It was absolutely my pleasure to document it for them – I hope you enjoy this little taste!
This is just a small taste of what a very beautiful and relaxed day Adele and Wyatt had for their wedding celebration at Hillsdale House in Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia. It was a day of big smiles and sweet kisses, made even better with delicious food and fabulous music. Anyone who could attend their wedding and not fall a little bit in love with Adele and Wyatt is. . . well, not me. Thank you so much for having me, you two!

I recently got to spend a very fun afternoon hanging out with the Boates’ family, in a couple of beautiful locations around Wolfville. This was a family session that was purchased as a Christmas present, which I always love. I may be biased, but it seems like a wonderful gift to me – the gift of memories, captured.
I’m not sure if it’s on purpose or not, but Acadia University timed their graduation ceremony perfectly with the peach blossoms. One gorgeous grad with her family, plus one perfect aisle of blossoming pink trees equals one happy photographer. I was back in Wolfville the next weekend, and not one pink petal remained on the trees. It couldn’t have been better timed! Excellent work, Acadia, and excellent work Acacia! Congratulations!
What a pleasure it is to visit the Proskow family on their little slice of paradise again! I mean, just look at this property – it’s the stuff dreams are made of. (And hard work, sweat, and sleepless nights, too, no doubt!)
It’s always a joy to me when I get to visit a family again – how fun to see baby Anja grow from a brand new itty-bitty newborn to a just-toddling, stick-eating, camera-loving little sweety-pie! And, of course, it’s nice to see her parents again, too! 😉
