Samantha & Brian – Kentville Engagement Photography

How is it possible that I have never been to the Research Station in Kentville?  Now that I have been, everyone is telling me that it’s a very popular place to do photos.  Really?!?  Well, now I know.  And I know why, too.  Samantha and Brian, I am so glad you guys chose to bring us all there.  And SO glad that you brought along Dozer and Timber, too.  What a lovely family you  have started.  I just had so much fun doing this shoot, with the long grass, and the fall leaves, and the big (BIG) dogs.  It was hard to pick just a couple to share with you here, but here they are – needless to say, I am SO excited for the wedding next summer!

Great compositions and love the yellow pops of colour!

Matt & Ashley – Annapolis Valley Wedding Photography

It was over a year ago when Matt and Ashley and I got together to do their engagement photos, so I’ve been looking forward to this wedding for a while!  It was definitely worth the wait, too.    It was a veritable list of so many things I love – home-made touches, amazing colours, stunning flowers (seriously, I am in love with these flowers!), fall leaves, pumpkins, apple cider, a private apple orchard (be still my heart!), a big crowd of people who love them, and two people who absolutely light up when they’re together.  Hooray!

There were so many photos to love, this is just a little taste here.  Enjoy your Sneak Peek!

Absolutely stunning.

Michael & Selina – Lunenburg Wedding Photography

Michael & Selina got married in Lunenburg, on the beautiful South Shore of Nova Scotia.  It was lovely to spend a little more time in Lunenburg, a place I’ve always admired, getting to know these two and their wonderful friends and family.  From their getting ready shots at the Luneburg Arms Hotel, to the ceremony in the bandstand in the middle of town, to the reception at the Lunenburg Curling Club, everything was  intimate and sweet, and it was quite clear that these two are well-loved by their friends and family.  Cake + Pie.  Love it!

The Conrad-Bowles Family Sneak Peek – Annapolis Valley Family Photography

Andrea and her beautiful family actually live on the South Shore, and decided to make a special trip to the Valley to have their family photos done.  She asked me where would be a good place to go, so I gave her a couple of options, and was thrilled when she chose a trip to Valley View Park and Hampton Beach – right in my own backyard!   A gorgeous family, a beautiful location, golden sunny light… could I be any happier?

Andrea, you and your family were such a delight to spend an afternoon with – everything about this shoot was an absolute pleasure.  I could go on and on, but maybe I’ll just let the photos do the rest of the talking 🙂

The Arsenault Family – Wolfville Family Photography

I met up with Tina, Yves, and Jeremi on their property overlooking the town of New Minas – what a beautiful place they have built – it was a lovely way to spend the afternoon.  Jeremi loves all things with wings, thus the coolest backyard helicopter ever.  As I’m sure you can tell from the photos, these guys were a lot of fun to hang out with.  (If only I spoke French, but that’s a whole ‘nother story!)  It was hard to pick just a few, but I did it somehow – enjoy your preview guys!

[…] message from Tina.  We’ve been to some great locations (Halls Harbour, Annapolis Royal, and their own backyard) but this year she said, “we’re renting a yurt at Keji!” and my […]
